HEHE gr8 day, had a real good turn up. not much got done apart from a couple of moulding. coilovers were 2 go in but a couple of seized nuts stopped that, hehe i sacrificed one of my spanners 2 help jinxeds tricky nut problem . lots of beers drunk. a few snaggas got sacrifised 2 the barbe, my fault, 2 many beers in the belly and got intoa discussion about skyline mods... hehe. Till next time fellas
now that was my kind of tech day.. only had to change the bush in a short shifter where an unmentioned workshop (see jixed manual conversion thread) didnt put the crush tube inside his shifter.. and his freshly rebuilt gearbox felt like a spoon in a puddle of mud nice and tight now then onto too a heap of beers, zed talk and some snaggas drove a few zeds too.. man i miss my car!!!!!
yes well we shant talk about that..... other than that they did a good job,so i would still recomend them, just double check when you pick the car up,plus they were they cheapest my miles so thats a plus too...... thanks to minivan for all the help,i would have struggled on my own, ditto to waztted and his mangled ring spanner...lol awesome day cant wait to do it again maybe next time minivan can have a real lime instead of lemons for his coronas....lol
haha.. no dude.. toms on a fishing trip.. so i get a break from em 3 more already booked in though.. haha
the funniest thing is ross.. simmo cut his spanner in half for you.. and when i got there, i didnt even use it.. lol
tech day distractions .....!!!!! .. lol ... .. and i recall work to be done on knock sensors, bodgy idle and something to do with simmo's sister ..... ??? .. lol..lol...
tech day hehe 1 spanner cut 4 a good cause anyway, hehe felt nice and seedy this morning. hehe let us know when u guyz wanna have another 1.. was looking forward 2 watching the process of installing the coilovers. ah well till next time fellas
hehe.. yeah.. impossible?? maybe his toolbox was a little lacking in tools.. only had a screwdriver and an angle grinder.. hahaha, or a 1/4 drive socket set?? nothing like a good 4' breaker bar
Well an LPG torch + 1metre breaker bar and no joy :< You got lucky is all. It is an easy job if you can get the bolts off though :> Cheers Rob
We (him and myself) did Jinxed's knock sensor relocation a couple of days earlier. Very easy job, but the tech article lied!!! It is not a M10 bolt/threaded rod, it was an M8 bolt/threaded rod!! Bloody american's and the metric system ;D Cheers Rob
