Eh why buy a 300zx at all. They're slow, heavy, expensive, overheat, hard to work on, ugly, unreliable etc. etc.

AND, in NSW, they can ONLY exit to the right-hand side of the vehicle(kind of a stupid styling cue for a 'V6' engined car IMHO).
The IMSA millen car ran exhaust from both the front and back as seen in this pic I think they would look great if you had them out sticking out at the front and sides as exhausts tend to add to the macho appeal of most performance cars (with the right exhausts of course) - but its not really practical as a single system for tuning purposes however I am doing something similar in that I am planning to use electric gates at the front dumps and with a flick of the switch vent covertly to the side for performance/ racing purposes (to get the exhaust out quicker), its obviously illegal and noisy to use it on the road and so by default the gate will push the exhaust to the back as per normal and I will only use the switch at the tracks. On a side note - The millen car beat many cars like Ferrari's, vettes, porsches and lambo's it's a proven design on the racetrack and you can't go too far wrong in trying to emulate in any way/ form even if its 20 yrs old
:rofl: explain to me station wagons then..... its all old bullshit that coppers used to use on us back in the day, bit like ya have to have 4" of ground clearance so if you cant drive over this coke-can you get a canary...... show me a 4" high coke can :rofl: and yet hundreds of lout's cars got canaries & yeah I was one..... once !!! the next time it happened I pulled out the tape measure and measured the can in front of the copper, needless to say he "found" other issues like the suddenly broken headlight and tail light there's only 2 main requirements...... the distance past the fully sealed join of the rear floor-pan and the front floor-pan the distance past the most rearward opening passengers door tailgates, barn doors, hatches, even the divvy wagons back door is not regarded as a passenger doors :br:
I'm not aware of the differing requirements in different States. However, I am aware of the NSW legislation which prohibits exhaust emissions from being pumped from the LEFT side of an angled exhaust(if that is going to affect Pedestrians using the footpath on that side of the roadway)hence my earlier post in this thread.:br:
