Just thought I'd post some pics of the restoration that I did on my side blinkers yesterday.

    (click for a bigger pic)

    Procedure was:

-Sand off the letters with 400 grit wet dry
-Sand out the 400 marks with 1200, and also sand the rest of the blinker
-Polish with tooth-paste and a rag (Mmmm minty fresh blinkers)
    -Polish with Meguires wet-look polish
-Wax with Meguires wet-look wax (optional)

about 30 minutes work for each one but worth it in the end as it saved buying new ones and I reckon they look better without the lettering.

    Cheers

Also replaced my widscreen cowls and resprayed the wipers!

Thanks to simon who supplied the cowls with very prompt service.

My old ones were cracked and falling apart so it was time to replace them now that I have an odyssey (no more fumes).

    Much neater looking!

Still have a few more goodies for show'n'tell but I'll wait until I have finished them.

    Meguires plastic polish

Meguires also have a product called "Mirror Glase 10" "Clear Plastic Polish". This is great for the Z's....doing the tail lights and those plastics around the boot lid. Would also be a great finish on those indicators.

    Looks very tidy...

I also need new cowls badly. One of mine has snapped in half and now the battery terminal gets wet. Where can I get new ones, who's Simon?
    Cheers,
