right...do you gag when you see a pristine 99 spec?

no but that is because those parts belong on that model car.

first year of production i believe should be keep quite stock for the most part in the looks department...

i spent a long time hunting for an '89 i wanted.

Ofc they belong on the car. The only thing that separates the years is a number and THE parts.

If you like the series 1 look then fine.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

that series 2 spoiler makes me gag

the rear window spoiler isnt oem, there's a couple recent threads on 3ZC trying to work out where to source one so have a look. Realspeed sell a couple versions on yahoo auctions but dont think they're quite the same as in the photo above, have a look though theres always 20 of them advertised like all the other realspeed products. Also have to be careful as they're 2+0/2+2 specific.

As for the car in the first post I'm not a fan, it just looks rough. If he'd tidied up the pull on the rear quarters & painted the kit it would've been nice (I'm a big fan of the stillen type 3 & gtz lips / skirts).

I'd rather leave mine in the shed than drive some of those :vomit:

Agree with you, Lidz's is dead sexy ;)

The two tone looks OK, maybe if it was finished off it would look good. Apart from that it has some nice rims and the natural Z curves going for it, thats it though...its nothing to get all jiggy about ....fine if you love it but don't try and force your views on others just because they don't agree :bash:

I'm mainly posting because I, like many others, are getting sick of your extremely generalised and unfounded comments about other forum members and the Australian Z community in general.

I think YOU could use some education in learning some manners and respecting other people's opinions. I mean, the cars you posted photos off from 'StayClassy' to me are not classy at all, quite the opposite...but that's my opinion, if it is yours that they are then that's cool...go pursue that look and enjoy it. What is not cool is trying to force your views down everyone's throats...just because YOU say something is so, doesn't make it so

I really do think you should clean your act up or GTFO...because from what I've seen, most of your posts since your "Im outa here" thread only serve to try and get a rise out of people...baiting people or kicking the ant hill as such...so as far as Im concerned, your a troll...but thats just my opinion ;) (and obviously a few others).

    Cheers,

    Craig

Sshhhh skidmark, shhhh, it's ok darling. We know you're a gibberish talking idiot, stop trying to prove it further... Ssshhhh it's ok.

That gibberish is honestly all I read when you start talkin about how NZ cars are nicer than Aussi cars and how your posts are education to us folk. Hahaha what a clown. Not saying you don't have nice cars in NZ, but STFU mang, seriously. No one even came near that topic, were talking about a specific car and how it looks. Not where it's from.

But that's just typical of you anyway...
    ... So you leaving orrrr...?

I posted up a car i liked, which everybody here i have shown likes, was wondering what you guys thought of it...

I don't mind people having a different opinion. thats thier choice, very interesting to see how polar opposite the 2 car scenes are...

over here mostly japanese drift influence...

i'm not sure what australian modified cars are influenced by.... really strict laws? lol

I love how i show a car, thats not even from NZ and then i show some NZ styled cars, and im suddenly trying to educate and say NZ cars are better?

Sweet i'll wear that because your cars are shit.

the 2 car scenes are not polar opposite. Australia is just more varied, we have the same hellaflush, ghettotastic and fully SiK followers here too. but every car owner doesnt jump on the bandwagon.

You like drift inspired cars and thats good for you but it doesnt mean the whole car scene should follow your idea or others.

Stretched rubber and crazy offsets are not a new thing, it was originally called the Euro look, ive seen veedubs and bmw's in magazines from the 80's where they pioneered that style its just taken the drifters 20 years to catch up, plagiarise and bastardise what was a decent look.

I like drift styled cars but i find the whole hella flush mad fitment bro is getting a bit overdone, and pretty impractical for the street.... and it gets you police targeted...

the scene is quite varied here too, you have your drift scene which is the rwd's really.... mostly nissan and toyota...

still got all the honda guys doing thier gay shit.

    evos blown up in garages...

    subaru's with phat chromies

    meh

each to thier own, i mean i like the freedom of modifying to do a car how u wish

but at some point u have to consider that a car could be so bad that you are infact decreasing the quality of life of everybody else who sees it.
