Had my Gearbox checked out and consensus was still it is in good condition but after all, it still is an old box so I've decided to go with some Redline Shockproof instead of their MT-90 (unless its probably better to stick to the MT-90?), but I'm hung up on which type.

Theres three, Super Lightweight Shockproof, Lightweight Shockproof & Heavyweight Shockproof.

Anyone have some insight which is more suitable for me?

And a long shot, but a good priced supplier too?

I've had lightweight shockproof in mine for a few years. Eliminated a grind from 4 to 5.

Lightweight Shockproof seems to be the most common choice. (The blue one)
I use it in my box as it was getting a little tired, was a bit hard to shift when cold & sometimes it would crunch on down shift from 5th-4th above 90-100kph, it all disappeared when the shockproof went in.

    Ditto lightweight shockproof.

I use the heavyweight shockproof in the diff.

    I've used Superlight & Lightweight....

in TTzed gearboxes. The superlight is comparable to a 70W90 gear oil, but has the internal fluid friction of an ATF.

The lightweight is comparable to a 75W140 gear oil, with a lower internal fluid friction.

The Shockproof oils are meant to have a lower coefficient of friction and a higher load carrying capacity than conventional gear oils.

Have you tried the redline website? They list distributors.

UAS always have some in stock (seven hills).

Up my way The Rev Doctor (Hornsby industrial area) carries it.

Been using the blue Lightweight in the G/Box(and the heavier variant in the Diff)for several(10)years. Never had a problem with either unit in all that time.
    Definitely a Fan!

Cheapest I've found and an awesome bloke to deal with is Harold.

    http://stores.ebay.com.au/Harold-PerformanceLUB/Redline-Oil-/_i.html?_fsub=1705414013

Just contact him and if you purchase not through ebay might still take a little bit off again for saving him fee's, he use to have a website but I haven't been there in a long time so forget the address. Keep in mind it wont be much cause he makes minimal on his products but again great bloke to deal with.
