Wow what a blast this was..
Large variety of cars Involved along with our very own Pete & Jen from WYKKED Racing.
Went along to watch and took my daughter along, we both had a blast and also went for a ride with Pete in his beast, my god that thing goes like an F16 and handles like a snake. Thanks for the ride mate! It made hopping back into my humble NA for the ride home seem like driving a 70's VW Beetle lol... shhh don't let my car hear me say that lol!!
My daughter now wants to get her track license after seeing the other young'ns there on there L plates hooning down the fast track and out on the Skidpan.
Also it was great to see Mike "Fangin" it in his wife's Magna around the Motorkana track... nice hand brakies mate! lol
Here's a few pics and I'm sure some of the more professional photographers will throw some more pics up.
Looking forward to see the official results too.
Thanks for a great day of entertainment!!.........:br:

All 3 vids below are of the same course, right side skidpan, Triple Loop layout.

    Old school, Dodge Charger!!

Black Magna Mikey, alias Red Zed Mikey, alias Handbrake Boy (The back wheels do rotate occasionaly...)

Mikey, if you like I can link that vid to your "Black Magna For Sale" ad so you can show potential
buyers just how solid and well loved the car is.

I had an absolute ball as a spectator, definitely in for the next one :)

Has anyone got the official results?

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

Fun day although the skid pan circuits were a bit small and slow for my liking, the back track was fun with lousy tyres though :) Well done Wykked for coming second on the back track which I'd say is what the Wykked mobile is far better built for than the pan.

Peter Black got a lift with me to spectate, when I heard JEDI-77 was out with the fly as we were leaving I stold him to grab his helmet and license just in case because you never know, and indeed he was able to enter driving my car. Literally the first time he'd driven the car and it was on the track... he didn't embarrass himself by stalling it :) And here's the proof:

Peter Black in my Skyline. He said "This car is aweseome, it's so fast and I love the spool of the turbo. If only I could own a fully sik R33 like you Ben but I'm just not cool enough. I love Skylines and wish I hadn't wasted my life driving an NA Z. I want everyone to see me in one." Direct quote.

Wykked mobile on skidpan, don't know if Wykked or Blondie was driving. Only video of them I got.

And me on the back track apparently forgetting I'd disabled the ABS :)

Also, had an awesome day, big thanks to Ben for letting me drive his bunky for the day. As far as actually getting good times around the tight courses it was not quite as suited to the purpose as the NA Zed and the extra turns lock to lock had me spinning the wheel a bit franticly a few times but damn it was fun. The lock diff, power to spare and dubious tyres definitely prevent you getting bored.

Very well done to Jen too who not only beat all other Aus300ZX people in the over all placings but also finished above Pete driving the same car. You've taught her too well Pete!

I'd also like to point out that one the first course we did I was quicker than Ben in his own car too.
He may have been putting more effort into going sideways than actually finishing the course but that changes nothing!

Once a again another top NDSOC/FPV DECA day. That makes three so far and I can't wait for next year, all those who didn't make it missed out big time. Jen is the undisputed DECA Skidpan Queen, although my times look a little worse than they should because I only attempted one of the courses once so received the slowest time recorded for my other run. My primary interest was the back track, I just love the challange. It was also great to take Shaun and his daughter for passanger runs on my second and thrid run. Hopefully we will see both of them behind the wheel next year and giving the other father/daughter combos a run for their money.

Hopefully Pete's drive of Ben's burgundy Taxi hasn't scarred him for life, and I love Mikey's Magna being described as "The Wife's car"......he even had an interested buyer leave his phone a voice message after seeing the car in action. What was the old advertising slogon behind car makers building race specials........"Win on Sunday sell on Monday" Mikey might not have won but if he sells the Magna then I'm sure he will consider DECA an even better investment.

    Glad y'all enjoyed it ;)

Outright winner was still a Zed- albeit an early one- Rich B in his blue 240.......
Someone has to hobble Cam in that Cobra- but then again i could listen to it all day.......

Mark (treasurer) had Al (Secretary) in his Z and by the cones, you can tell someone was reefing on the handbrake whilst in the passenger seat
    [IMG]

Steve has that Chev green z with black bonnet last year- that's in bits whilst he's putting an LS1 in it so he bought the Dodge
