We do not have to be a registered club so we can put on a display. What we need is numbers so they can set aside a large enough area. They have suggested if we have 6 confirmed, book site for 10 in case of extras at the last minute.

Once we have numbers I can send entry form & they will send out stickers so we get the club rate, which are:
CLUB DISPLAY
$5.00 per car + $10.00 driver & $10.00 per passenger

If you want your car judged individually, those cars will be:
$10.00 per car + $10.00 driver & $10.00 per passenger

If you wish to run in the Test 'n' Tune Add $20.00
Car
?a roadworthy street registered car with seatbelts
?a current drivers licence
?long sleeved top
?long pants
?closed in shoes
?Australian standard helmet with AS/NZS 1698 rating or better

 

Sorry guys, this was my idea to start off with, and i cant even make it.
No licence sucks nuts!! and theres nobody else close enough (that i trust with the car) to drive it down for me.

 

Where is Eastern Heights??
Maybe one of us could help out with a responsible driver so you can make the event

Eastern Heights is on the Brisbane side of Ipswich, just out of town.

Car has just crapped itself, just replaced radiator, top and bottom hoses, lower oil lines, and overflow, but NOT the heating feed pipe/hose, which with the new pressurised cooling system as compared to .... not, it gave out like a Thai ladyboy on a cheap tuesday.

Unless someone is totally awesome and knows how to replace those WITH the plenum still on, and/or engine still in the car, its not going to this event.

Booking site today
Well somewhat dissappointing response but I am booking site today.
While we only have 3 deffinates, myself, RoryZ & Bigshow I am booking for 5 or 6 just in case we get some of you putting your hands up late:zlove:
Further details about meet point & time will be posted as event gets closer
Can't really understand the lack of interest as I have been to this event before at the old venue & it is awesome, great cars, great people, all in all just a great event.
Anyway if any of you decide to take a concrete pill & harden up you can PM me & I'll give you the details

OK, got the stickers yesterday
So far there are 4 of us self, RoryZ, The Big Show & Baron.
2 spots left
Have had advice that Gates open 6am & must be in & set up by 9am
There are 240 Club cars booked, so it will be busy.
Need feedback from you guys on what time you would like to meet & sugestions on where??
I think 7:30 -8am at BP Ambereley.

Pete, what time is it likely to finish on the day?

 

Think it goes till about 5pm but when i have been to these before you can usually get out after about 2pm

 

ONLY 2 WEEKS to go!! Still got 2 spots available have 4 confirmed at present.
It would be great to get 6 cars there as that's what I booked for.

Would have thought we would have got at least 10. Considering this is one of the biggest shows in QLD. I think it's now about 300+ Club & show cars booked + swap meet, test & tune, trade stands
Any way the site is booked for 6 only due to the poor response & as far as I know there is still just the 4 of us. RoryZ was trying to contact Rollin so maybe 5
I know that you(Baron) are coming down from the Sunshine Coast, which is awesome
My own car is not finished but I will display as unfinished project It'll be a great day anyway.
Can someone bring a camera so we can post some pics after the event, that should motivate people & hopefully get a better turnout next year
