Off boost, what's that ? Isn't that when you have the handbrake on ?

 

No its when your driving an NA, thats what off boost is

 

actually no.....

I reckon an NA would be quicker than a TT off boost due to the differences in compression and stuff. So if all you TT people could please remain off boost when us NA'ers are around, that'd be great, thanks.

My car used to be one and in its hayday was very nice to drive. (Wouldn't exactly call em slow either)

over 570km to a tank too! Sweet!

Not that I'm about to give up my Auto TT, they're different cars, both exciting driving machines, just different!

I can get 535k's to a tank @ 14psi - driving hard.

Just filled up at 90.9c (PULP). Lucky to live in QLD.

 

Speaking of rocks...

...perhaps we should have a national NA day and all us TT drivers place a large rock under our accelerator peddles as a mark of respect?

 

WTF... 500km+ out of a tank.... mines NA and from 55L i get MAX...! 380km !

 

I just did the trip to Berri and back, approx 500kms, and only used 50L.

I got the same problem but its called city driving. get me on the open road and the 55l tank goes for over 600km if im not flogging it in the lower gears

ohh... that does not sound good at all

55 litres for 380kms is pretty bad. I would suggest you bring your car into your trusted mechanic and see if there are any problems.

My NA zed did that before the engine rebuild and now it's doing about 11 litres to a 100km.

My NA regularly returns 9.1-9.2L/100km (Melb -Mildura, 563km on 52L). You should be able to get 650km+ and still have a reserve of about 10liters
