Just want to say hi to all first, new to the forum, but have been browsing for a few months. I bought my Z in February and have had some work done to it at various places (only minor) mainly due to the insecurity I felt at the places I took my Z, cause I can tell you (and so can John) that my car really needed someone who knew what they were looking at real soon. Well from what I've read mainly on this forum, UAS was the place for my baby to have someone touch her in just the right places. And I am so glad I did. I took her in to clean the injectors, and ended up getting them to fix up all the nitty gritty I've been meaning to get done, but yet to find a mechanic willing to do it. I felt very confident in the work they did to my car (A first for me ;P). Luckily it was finally done now too, as I have the old waterpump with me and its very ready to seize up from rust...... phew! Just in time for summer, eh? Anyways, just wanted to share the experience I had at UAS and thanks to John for finally bringing my faith back to mechanics. Sorry for the long post all
I saw your Zed when I was at UAS getting my car tuned... I remember the Zepters... It's a nice looking Zed and I'm looking forward to seeing you on the next cruise... Enjoy it.
Thanks. I'm looking forward to going for.... a criuse. Especially with summer coming along and the t-tops off and all. mmmmmmm :thumbsup:
T-Tops off is phatt, but, speaking from experience, either remember a hat or remember sunscreen! OUCH!! But meh, it does rock if there is a nice breeze, and "nice thing" to look at.
Always recieved top service at UAS I dont trust any other workshop with my zed. Hence the interstate travel to get there hehe. What makes me insecure about workshops here is seeing them take it for a spin around the block for a thrill
Targas off in summer is best done at night! I remember those hot nights just cruising around with windows down, targas off and music cranking! Bring it on I say!
Hmm, yes night cruising is good and music crankin' is a bit hard for me at the moment... no deck!... The AVC-R and SAFC-II are proving more than entertaining:thumbsup:
Every owners nightmare. I have some pics of when an apprentice at a Nissan dealer took a S15 out to play. PM me for pics if you're interested.
Leaving your car Expecially your pride and joy sports car is like leaving your precious kids with a Dentist or Doctor or baby sitter etc. They have to be honnest, have ability, common sense and interest in their profession. Also cheap professional or not going to specialists are not always best.
