Hi all, So basicay I have to rebuild my engine so I picked up some heads but they were told that they were series 2, now basically the upper plenum is from A series 2 and the heads are from the same car, but the lower intake plenum is series 1. I've been told that it won't bolt to the series 2 heads so I'm looking for a series 2 lower plenum and fuel rail in the wanted section, but I just wanted to confirm if it's true. I've done a search but has found series 1 heads to series 2 lower plenum so the reverse of what I'm looking for
Well its deeper than that. The series 2 heads have to be used as well if you want to use a series 2 lower plenum and a series 2 fuel rail. All these things are NOT interchangeable with series one.
Yeah that's what I'm asking, I have series 2 heads, but I was wondering is it possible to run a series 1 lower plenum?
