    Leaking targas (2)...

Sorry, by 'reasonable term' I mean my have survived Sydney's rain storms (recent) and previous downpours, tho' scarce, for nigh on two years now. The outer original seals atr just getting to point where they probably need a bit thicker "roll-up" to be inserted replacing the original pieces I put in.

    fixing leaky targa

    hi,
i read on this website that after age the glue that seals like on the outside of the drain dries up and pulls away and lets water in, its easily fixed by siliconing around the outside of the drain, this won't fix the water coming in form the window seal but i thought i might post this incase anyone reads this as this fixes the problem of getting a wet seatbelt in the rain.

    I have always

had a towel or two in the 280ZX. Put one over your right shoulder/arm, the other on the passenger seat. Also found that if you park it on the flat it doesn't leak as much as if you park it downhill.

The convertible gets parked inside, but I still carry a towel, and have had to use it once. No drain holes there though.

    Sounds good!

Sounds like a good idea! Im assuming let them open up to there maxium potental and once they do, then use the silicone... I'll be giving that idea a shot. If not, its looking like JustJap will be seeing me soon enough!!!
