    couple of questions,,

my seats are full of dust and make my interior impossible to clean cause everytime you sit down dust goes into the air and settles somewhere. i read somewhere that you can use a fabric shampoo to clean them, anyone got any specific ones in mind... also is getting the seats out as easy as taking out he 4 bolts holding them down.. my seats are not electric

also the seat reclining wheel is worn causing the seat to slowly settle to the same position, is there anyway to fix this

    thanks

lol that sounds funny im just imagining every time you sit on them a huge cloud of dust comes out serz though get them out of the car and get a compressor and go sick at them. yep 2 bolts at the front and 2 nuts at the rear.

Find someone who can lend you one of those wet VAX vacuum cleaners ! Buy some fabric shampoo from your local supermarket! Works wonders! I did every tweed panel & all my seats! Came up a treat!

You can also hire the machines from the supermarket as well if you don't know anyone with a VAX! ;)

like above blow em out with a compressor and blower first then get them professionally shampooed. it only cost around 50$ per seat for a detail-er to do it.

I hired one of those steam cleaner vac's from woolworths a couple of weeks ago. Cost $50 for 4 hours plus the shampoo's. The seats were from the wreckers so very grubbyand light grey which showed up everything, came up fantastic with a couple of hours work.

Thats got nothing to do with dust. Your zed is actually trying to deter her from entering it. I read it in the tech section. Something to do with it being a safety feature? Not sure though. :p

Carpet cleaners are great from this job. When i got the black zed it needed a good clean. Few hours doing the seats and tweed trim, floor mats!!

It came up really really nice. Water was a disgusting colour afterwards though. Cant really beat the good ol' carpet cleaner.

Than again, leather is always the best alternative...

Cant help you with the seat issue. Ive never seen a non electric zed seat before.

I used Steve from Number One Carpet Cleaning, brilliant work, came at short notice, on time, did a complete 2+2 carpets, seats front and back, door/console/dash trims, hatch carpet and a set of very dirty shaggy mats for $130 !!!

Good bloke and serious about his work, couldn't be happier.

Had spot cleaners, and worked on specific stains with various products and a massive machine in his van.

He also does leather and services, Brisbane, Gold Coast and SE Queensland.

I looked at supermarket cleaners, but when adding up the costs of picking up and dropping of as well as shampoo and spot cleaners, I was happy to pay a guy a little extra to do it, not to mention his skill and experience.

Meant to put this guy up sooner.

No the knob twists fine. Just everytime I get into the car I hav to return it to the position I was in. It doesn't stay where it was it falls back
