    Hi,

Since getting my car back from the smash repairers my seat belt warning light won?t turn off. It use to turn on briefly when you started the car, and then go off again.

I read a post where someone was questioning an electrical connector being plugged into both their seat belt retractor mechanisms. I too have electrical connectors right near the seat belt retractors, but neither of them are plugged into anything. Problem is, there isn?t anything to plug into. In addition, the repairers only took the driver?s side apart, not the passenger side; which suggests that the passenger side at least, has never been connected.

As far as I?m aware the driver?s side seat belt was not replaced (I organised almost all the parts, and a seat belt was not one of them).

Does anybody have a suggestion on where to look for a fault? Starting to get annoying.

    Cheers
    Mark
