Saw the 25th Anniversary Edition of the TCM on the weekend...

    Don't know how true the movie was of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 1973, but there was lots of what the yanky doodles would call "ketchup" smeared over everything...:p.

    I wasn't game enough to see this movie when I was a teenager but now that I've grown up, it wasn't too scary...:D

    The R rating was justifited at the time I guess, but would probably warrant an M rating these days.

    I saw it all alone in the dark too!!! :thumbsup:...wooooo...scaaaary...:p

    I couldn't help but laugh when the bloke was munching on what he thought was BBQ...:LOL:

    Yeah, it's a bit hard to be scared by a movie these days

    when you say you wonder how true the movie was in 1973, is that in regard to rumours it was based on a true story? If you wondered that look here
