Don't know how true the movie was of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 1973, but there was lots of what the yanky doodles would call "ketchup" smeared over everything.... I wasn't game enough to see this movie when I was a teenager but now that I've grown up, it wasn't too scary... The R rating was justifited at the time I guess, but would probably warrant an M rating these days. I saw it all alone in the dark too!!! :thumbsup:...wooooo...scaaaary... I couldn't help but laugh when the bloke was munching on what he thought was BBQ...:LOL:
Yeah, it's a bit hard to be scared by a movie these days when you say you wonder how true the movie was in 1973, is that in regard to rumours it was based on a true story? If you wondered that look here
