NSW Saturday 26th May, Northern Sydney Evening Cruise

    Hey guys, just speaking to Anti and we're both keen for a cruise... so here it is!

    Date: Saturday 26th June

    Time: Depart 8:00pm

    Meeting Point: Empire Marina carpark at Bobbin Head Reserve, Kuring-gai Chase Road. This can be approached from either North Turramurra via Bobbin Head Rd or Mount Colah via Kuring-gai Chase Road.

    Proposed Route:
    • Leave Bobbin Head to the North via Kuring-Gai Chase Rd
    • Follow Pacific Highway to Brooklyn and the Mooney Mooney Bridge
    • Old Pacific Highway to Calga and Gosford Quarries
    • Wiseman's Ferry Road to Peats Ridge Road and then back home via the F3

    We could cut this short by jumping back on the F3 at the Calga interchange if needed.

    Driving Time: 2 hours

    So who's keen??

    Cool mate -maybe cruise down the F3 and meet us a Brooklyn for the northern run?

    Anyone have a UHF? I have a small handheld one -not sure how consistent mobiles are up the old highway so a radio on first and last cars could be a good thing...

    Yeah for sure, only thing is that I won't find out until the Tuesday before hand. I usually am working Saturday, would be suprised if I'm not.

    keen! but not so keen to get wasted by an S5...

    For anyone on the fence, I can assure you the first 1/2 of the route are some of the best twisties I've ever driven on! and the F3 is always fun late at night...

    Sounds like a good run. Anyone else coming from the south? It will be a 3 hour (legal) drive to the starting point for me so Im a maybe for now.
