Quick Q, in your last sale they were coming out of different nissans and it was mentioned that install would be different. im assuming they are otherwise an identical unit? If so ill take one thanks
Yes, they come out of different Nissans. The colours of the wires may be different, BUT the pins are the same. It looks like I will have to buy these as there is now enough interest. I will contact my guy tonight and let you know when I can get them. I do not want cash until I receive them in-country.
Is there a way to check if the S2 PTU is fully functional before installation? I am still debating whether to go 2nd-hand or new?

You can, but I'm not sure how. As far as I know, they are just a bunch of transistors, so you can check for 0.7v drop across certain terminals, and full resistance the other way. (If that doesn't make sense to you, then I suspect you need to do further searches for a more complete, but more straight-forward explanation - Sorry) As for the decision to go new or 2nd hand, I suspect the vast majority of people on here have gone 2nd hand, with (I suspect) very little, if no problems. Happy to be proven otherwise.
