Hi guys, my wing is in a very ordinary condition it is lifting and has lot of cracks through it. I had this reseated and resprayed a few years back but i think the wing has had it. What i wanted to know is if i remove the wing can the sticky stuff that seals the wing be cleaned off without compromising the paint? And if the bolt holes are filled can you get a blend spray job done for just the part of the hatch under the wing? The rest of the paintjob is in really good nick so i don't want to have to respray the whole hatch - in hindsight i should have just gone brazilian back then but oh well. Thanks in advance for any advice.
is it just a stock wing? this is what renes looked like when she took it off...but it has been there since it came out of the factory (i think)
Use eucalyptus oil...... Good stuff for removing most goo without affecting paintwork, AND it will clear your sinuses at the same time The quality of your blending job will depend on the expertise of your spraypainter but be assured that sooner or later you will have to spray the whole hatch because the sunlight will fade the paint at differing rates.
