rod and main bearing grades

    does anybody know what these are for a 1990 auto TT block? or where i would find this? im guessing its probably on the bearings themselves which i dont have access to right now

    Measure your crank M8.
    Only way to know for sure.

    The bearing are individually sized to your crank journals. You don't buy a "single" set. you need to buy the numers of the differing grade bearings as stamped on the bloxk and conrods. And guess what ..to see those numbers you have to remove the sump

    lol the motor is 100% stripped. its just all happening at my mates and i wanted to order new bearings but he wasnt home to tell me the grades i needed:p guess ill just have to go round and check...sigh

    You need to measure the crank to ascertain whether you can use the stock grade bearings or you need to go oversize on the journals.
