As this draws closer I am more inclined to join up with y'all.
I will only be going if RZ2 is ready and back on the road though.
Having said that, the last of the parts that I am organising for basic engine assembly was given to Joe last week; Joe has rings on the way and the block is out being tunnel bored. Not sure where Joe is at with the bearings.

Last part of assembly process will be to catch up with Wykked to suss out fittings required for PCV set up before it all goes back together.

There has been discussion about themes; I get the impression that the concept more about dressing the owners and passengers up rather than the cars and display? Right or wrong?

A couple of other themes have occurred to me if it's more about the people:
- We all get dreadlock wigs, coloured Jamaican caps, and feature Douggies car (DREDZ) as the centrepiece with some Bob Marley wailing through the speakers , and ...
- Blues brothers look-a-likes.

 

Given that Halloween is in October, what about a Halloween theme? Pumpkins with candles, spooks, skelletons, vampires etc? Just throwing it out there!...

 

I like that idea ... might have to paint the Z pumpkin orange .

 

Hallowe'en might be better than a Jamaican theme, Mon! 'DREDZ' has nothing in the dash to power the speakers! Skellington suits might be the go!

Yes..I think the Halloween theme is a great idea!!...can get some decent stuff from Spotlight ...
Hmmm...how to dress up the zed, throw a bed sheet over it and cut out some eye holes hahahahahah

 

I think its decided then , Halloween it is, so start getting your ideas/costumes/cars organised....Mwahhhh...

 

I'm not going to be able to make this one I am afraid, I can't get holidays at the right time.

Yeah, I have a couple of weeks off already booked for the start of October so more time off at the end may be pushing it a little.

 

Well I've just booked a deluxe cabin for Craig, Andrew and I (Amy is unable to get work off )...Booked for the 22/10 (Thurs), 23/10 (Fri) and 24/10 (Sat)...

Works out to be:
- $102 each for the 3 nights (off peak), we are staying in off-peak times according to the lady

Deposit made, to hold the booking..

 

I'm guessing we will meet you on the way as we pass round Bendigo.

 

Yeah that is a plan at the moment, but Craig and I are looking at visiting Adelaide as a mini holiday...so we'll see if funds allow..I'll let you all know closer to the date

 

think i'll have to throw the silvs on the trailer the piss in the boot and head over!!!

Not sure what to do for that theme, but my car will look quite different to how it is currently by then!
