Me ana Franz headed down to the drags last night to have a few runs... and i ended up running a 13.19!! which i was pretty stoked with!!! :D I knew it was gonna be a good night when i drove of the street and pretty much straight onto the drag strip (didnt have enough time to change anything from what i was running on the street as they called me up pretty much as soon as i got there :p) and ran a 13.51! which at the time was my best ever time at the drags... and she kept getting quicker! >>1st run: 13.51 @ 171.39kph
    2nd run: 13.50 @ 172.21kph
    3rd run: 13.50 @ 172.82kph
    4th run: 13.43 @ 173.87kph
    5th run: 13.38 @ 175.12kph
    6th run: 13.31 @ 175.98kph
7th run: 13.19 @ 176.85kphi honestly think thats about all im going to get out of the current setup (still got the stock auto too), which im not complaining about considering i was aiming for 13.7!! didnt expect 13.5!! and i really didnt expect 13.1!!!!!!!Was a great night.... there were 2 other zeds there too.... plus a ferrari and a GT3!almost 24 hours later and im still buzzing :D

Boost was anywere from 0.6 bar on my first run, then increased to just over 1bar on my last run.My profile is upto date with my list of mods... so yeah, mainly just the exhaust, air filter, automatic line controller and boost.... launch technique is simple.... step on break pedal as hard as u can with your left foot... step on accelerator pedal as hard as u can with you right foot.... when she starts making a decent amount of boost and starts breaking traction.... let go of the break!.... not the healthiest things to do to an auto, but it works :p

i got my 7 runs in all before 8.30pm (could of got at least 2 more in if i wanted too)... and you usually get 3 or 4 runs in after the burnouts, so you would of got plenty of runs in...Wednesdays finish at the end of May.

    Hey Andrew...

Do you find that the automatic line controller makes a big difference? Worth the dosh?Nice time, especially for an auto. :YD I'm sure Franz reminded you of his time promptly though! :p Cheers

the ALC makes a huge difference!! >>

we acidentally disconnected it when we put Franz's ECU in my zed, and the differance was huge! the standard shifts are sooooo rough compared...i killed 2 trans pretty quick, but since the ALC has been installed she has hung on really well considering the amount of stress i put through it.... well worth spending the money....He didnt get back into 12's last night (clutch problems)... so we were pretty close last night.... ive goto get rid of the speed limiter and get some other mods done over the next couple of weeks.... then im after 12's!!

    I didn't need to...

Well done to Andrew for running an awesome time. His times were coming down each run and we both thought that after that run there wouldn't be anymore in her - how wrong we were!I ran consistent low 13's all night even with the clutch slipping through 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I spose one advantage is that I don't have to play with tyre pressures. :pNew clutch was ordered tonight, so once that goes in, I hope for regular 12's.
