My Series 1 rear spoiler is starting to lift and the paint is in poor condition.
I would like to either replace it or fit a Series 2 spoiler.
    Has anyone done this recently?
What has it cost and where can i get a spoiler from?

    Series 2 spoiler = 4 post spoiler?

If so I had to bring mine in from the US. Cost a blleedin' fortune in freight because of the size. best option would be to try to source one locally.

    Same problem here.

My spoiler is doing the exact same thing -- the centre is lifting and the paint looks crap.

I'd personally like to completely remove the spoiler and have a smooth back. Any advice on this or a good place to take it?

    Use SEARCH

All options have benn discussed many times.

Removing old spoiler is easy & if you find a good 2nd hand one with no rust, expect to pay around $250. After painting, if req'd, re-fitting is easy d-i-y job.

I have a complete 2+2 hatch with spoiler available here if you want to come and pick it up ;)

    i have just

finished a full re-vamp of my rear spoiler. removed it, re-sprayed it, polished the tail gate whilst the spoiler was off to remove the grime that had built up over the years around the edge.. it looks a million bucks now;)

here is a couple of pic, sorry about the dodgy quality (camera phone)
