Replace the power steer rack n pinion.

Has any one replaced their rack/pinion and if so, can it be done without
removing the engine? Looked in the tech articles, but couldn't find the answer.

 

You can take the rack out pretty easy took me about 45 mins from scratch, did you want to remove the steering column as well ?

yaaa, ive replace the steering rack...no need to remove anything...

just do it on a hoist lol

 

2nd that squishing under the car on stands is not much fun

 

sounds like MZM is already tooling up ..!!!! ..lol...
