Removing Hicas- cant get this off

I cant get this bastard undone. How do you get the arms off the steering ram at the back of the car? Ive unscrewed it a good way, but no joy.

Suggestions?

 

2 huge C spanners going in opposite directions works.

the whole unit off. from the hubs. and put it in a vice. get a big shifter and turn. thats what i did

 

I had to butcher mine.....

I took the whole thing off and put it in a vice but still couldn't undo the screwed section. I ended up crushing the tube section in order to get it undone.

It doesn't matter about the tube section because you only bin it anyway.

 

I threw the whole thing in the bin and put the UAS hicas eliminator kit.
