nah, I just slapped it all together, she'll be right. j/k yes I followed the service manual, religiously. Found out what my problems were yesterday. The steering was the turbo heat shield which had come loose and was rubbing on the steering arm. The stuck throttle, well I'm not too happy about this. I had a piece of styrofoam in the throttle body. The foam would have come out of the intercooler, because when it was shipped the outlets weren't covered. I thought I'd got all the bits out, but I obviously missed one, hopefully only one.:bash:
I especially Like the idea of riding the engine. Infact when i get home i'm gonna jump on my little push mower, ride the engine on that- just out of respect. Wow though, $10k. god i wish i could have that flexibility to spend that on a car.
Unfortunately I didn't get to ride the engine. That was my mate, who seems to have a natural ability for climbing on things. I was chief crane operator.
