Is it possible to remove the tint from the hatch glass without destroying the rear demister element..as some numpty put tint on that u can barely see out of.. if so whats the best method... cheers, steve
steam is the best way to remove it. Lay a few towels out in the hatch area, start at a corner and give it a liberal dose of steam. The tint film will soften and be able to be peeled back with your fingernail. From there, apply steam to both surfaces as you peel the film off. If done properly, the entire lot should come off in 1 section, adhesive and all. About a 10-15min job
