    Hi guys,
Sorry for another wheels question.. I did try to do my research but I'm just getting really confused.

So basically, I'm trying to decide on wheel sizing for my zed.. I'm looking at fitting 18" xd9's

According to some of the stuff I've read like this site:
    http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/wheel-fitment-and-tire-size-guide-nissan-300zx.html

the stock wheel set up is
    Front: 16? x 7.5? 45mm Offset
    Rear: 16? x 8.5? 35mm Offset

But when checking the measurements on my car I think I'm actually 16" x 7.5" 45mm offset all round. All tyres are 225/40's. Is this because of difference between J-spec and America? Uh anyway.

    I'm trying to decide between:
    18 X 9.0 +30 all round
    18 X 9.0 +30 on the front and 18 X 10.0 +38 on the back

So clearance measurements seems to be ~40mm clearance from the rim lip to the outer edge of guard, all round and...after a bit of number fudging it seems like if I fit 9.0" +30 all around I'll have about 6 mm clearance.

which should be okay for the front, but the back has a ~15mm lip.. so does this mean I'll have to roll the back lip?

if I fit 10's there should be about only 1mm clearance, then can I get away with just rolling the lip tight?

Is inner clearance going to be a problem?
I've seen people fit 18" x 10" +38 on the rear but was just wondering if anyone has any specific experience with xd9's in this size?

My zed's not currently lowered but would lowering cause any issues?

    Ugh, so confusing.

these are american sizes. j-spec and aus-spec are the same size all round.

the stock wheel set up is
    Front: 16? x 7.5? 45mm Offset
    Rear: 16? x 8.5? 35mm Offset

the wider rear is actually quite desirable and rare over here due to the bigger tyre sizes it allows on the stock rims. sleeper spec stuff lol....
    :br:

10+38 will fit fine with a roll.

i've tried all of these setups.

9+30 will fit all without modification at any ride height. 10+38 on the rear however will depend purely on the tyre and ride height. if you roll the rear guards then you got nothing to worry about.

As above, only USA and UK turbo versions had 8.5" rears - all else had 7.5" rears, even japanese turbo versions

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Get the 10" rear. Might need a guard roll if you're low enough.
