I have to replace a rear wheel bearing, the car was originally NA but was converted to TT. I don't think he swapped out anything apart from the engine so I assume it's NA but is there any way to check so I don't order the wrong bearings?
It's unlikely the rear end was swapped out. If you want to know for sure I reckon the easiest way would be to slide under the car and count the bolts where the tailshaft flange meets the diff. If 6 then you have a TT rear, if 4 you have NA. If you like shoot me a VIN and I'll price you up some OEM gear.
I think you will find that the Vin you just gave is the Australian compliance one. You need to get the one that is stamped in the centre of the firewall above the plenum/motor. They can be hard to see if you have a dark paint job. Cheers Dave
Forgive my ignorance but all I see in that are is " Z32-000313" and that it's carved into the firewall
Robs right if you look at the tailshaft that comes from the gearbox NA has 4 nuts n bolts TT has 6 Socket head bolts and yes coming out of the diff to the wheels NA has 5 bolts TTs have 6
