Hi guys,,,just done the burning of the old rubber bushes on the rear subframe and have removed all of the shells on the right rear one only. Was I supposed to remove all the shells for the energy suspension bush kit because the new energy bush just drops into the frame with a bit of clearance aswell. Can this be correct? too loose in my opinion. Should I have left the last shell in place? Mitches video shows all of them removed but not sure if he was going to fit the energy kit.
    Cheers

    Just my thoughts.
I think maybe those shells would be where the bolts go through, so they would be needed to be in place again. Otherwise the bushings would be subjected to wear and tear, causing increased movement.
I am yet to fit mine.

Hi Zano...I am thinking the same...I see minutes ago on the uk forum one member stated to leave the last shell in place. Damm that means I have one shell stuffed.
The other issue is when all the bushes are fitted from the top what stops the frame from dropping down as the lower half of the poly bush is the same diameter as the frame. The oem bush is bonded to the inner shell which is press fitted into the frame nice and tight but the poly bush is hand inserted...when tightening the nut and washer does the poly bush expand making a tight fit in the frame?:confused::confused:

Yes you're supposed to leave the outer sleeve in for the energy suspension bushings. Solid and others you take the sleeves out I think. Czp in the states makes a replacement sleeve kit if you can wait for postage. link
