Rear Passenger Side Window

    Hi Guys

I am in the unfortunate position of recently returning from an overseas trip, and being greeted by an extensively hail damaged 300zx in the driveway at home caused by the storms in Melbourne during March. It would seem my run of goodluck of surviving off 3rd party insurance has come to a fairly unpleasant end :(

I have decided that I want to hold onto the car for the time being rather than scrap it, but need to sort out some issues to get it back on the road. The biggest hurdle i've come across is sourcing a supplier of the small rear passenger side window. I also need to get the windscreen replaced, but none of the windscreen mobs I've called can supply a replacement side window. I've called Nissan and they're quoting over $600 just to get the glass brought in from Japan!!

Does anyone know of a more affordable source of one of these windows? Can I use a 2nd hand one off a wreck? It's an 89 TT 2+2, are there any differences between the 2+2 and the 2+0 rear windows?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Justin

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

I have replace both of mine. The 2+2 and the 2+0 are different.

Those windows actually have to be cut off and all the rubber trims are attached to the window.

I think I paid $440 the pair from Coz, So I suggest you get it from him.\

There are also 3 coloured glasses you can buy. Cheapest is the bronze one.

There is also blue and charcoal. Have fun trying to figure out which colour you already have.

The window is glued back in wiuth windscreen acrylic adhesive.

BTW you also get the lower rubber strip with it so at least that will look like new and make the door trim look crappy. :D
