Re-surface new flywheel?

    I had one of these flywheels new. Its very shiney isnt it ?? :eek:

    Fact is beyond cleaning it till the oil has gone is all you have to do,

    IMO if I was doing it again. I would rub over it with 220 wet and dry on a flat sanding block before hand and make sure the surface is burnished before fitting.

    It doesnt need to be skimmed. They are very nice out of the box

    Any particular cleaning product to remove the surface oil? or just good elbow grease with a rag?

    I use degreaser and a rag.
