One of the biggest problems I have had since buying my Z is having the car too low. The previous owner installed King Springs and as a result my car has only 110mm of clearance at the front. It gets annoying scraping the car over speed bumps and driveway entrances. I would like to raise it at least another 60mm. Is it possible to get spacers or do I need to buy a new set of springs?

Probably a new set of springs would be your best bet. 60mm is a lot to raise it though....

Do you do the angle driving (most of us seem to do) over the obsticles? Mine isn't the lowest I've seen, but I could reasonable easily clear those 45 degree type gutters. It seems like a shame to raise a Z like that, but if it must be done I guess you have no choice.

There should be hundreds of stock springs and near perfect shocks lying around in the boys garages.

But then, new springs and shocks would be better.

Yeah I am doing the angle bit at the moment but unfortunately my apartment has a speed hump right at the entrance to the underground car park. The 45 degree cut in still causes a slight scrape. The car looks hot being so low, even so 20mm extra would be a help.
