Looking to get some racing seats for my car at the moment and have found a supplier Looking at around the $700 mark and that includes 2 seats and 2 300zx specific rails for the car completely bolt in not stuffing around. Pics are below, there bride and recaro seats - Not genuine but look really good in suede. There was a GB on SAU recently and the organiser has a few sets left and more come in late last week. Check the GB section on SAU. Similar price, cheaper depending on the style you want.
Will look into it.... Those ones did not come with 300zx specific rails though. this price includes custom 300zx made rails which always adds a huge amount to the cost. The guy has a supplier which sells the rails to him for $100 each cause of the volume, where they normally on sell the rails to us for $170. each

Could anyone blowing in on this thread politely **** off if you are not interested you are not adding any value and being pests. As it stands seats have been tested and come with the relevant ADR tags. You will need to buy the seats to get the seat rails at the cheap price or the rails will cost you $200 each..... He is doing the rails at cost with the seats. You can pic from the Bride or recaro and there is another option as well. I think the recaros look the nicest in the suede. You can get fixed back if you want but these are the reclinable ones that I have priced.

If people would look at the original post, these do not come with universal rails. The rails I have managed to get included are specific for the 300zx, custom made and bolt right in with these exact seats. So as far as "value for money" goes. I challenge anyone to find a deal this good including bolt up rails if you go the just jap you will get seats of lesser quality,( i think the suede racaros look mint) and need to spend another 400 on rails. 99% of the seat you get out there have universal rails which will cost a lot to be modified if you dont do it your self and are not legal ( you will need to get engineer approval).
yes that is correct, it is the same guy. When you factor in the 300zx specific rails and NOT the universal rails which DO NOT fit he was looking at around the 800 mark to charge us. If we can get more interest he will look at $700 charge. Which is a nice saving i will have the check if that included shipping I think it did.
no problems mate. I thought this would be useful as I have been looking for aftermarket seats for ages!!! the problem was always getting the rails for the 300zx. It always seemed to double the cost of the seats and made it not as affordable... with this its all packaged up So if anyone has interest keen to get some ppl say they would like to register interest so I can get it going. need 5 pairs.....could probably get more off with more ppl interested....dont know how much more though
