Yes... although rarely can they not be revived by dismantling and cleaning them. Tech article in tech section. otherwise buy off a wrecker and re-co it yourself... Nissan will rape you for a new one
Geez, is Nissan gold plating them now? ---> I bought a perfect condition 2nd hand one from Cresta wreckers 3245 1555 for $50 DIY. Still prob less than $100 for one already on the shelf. Install/removal/overhaul within the scope of the average competent zedder. PS: Care with the IACV gasket when removing. Often they split. I have a few spare here from all the plenum pulls ... will give away as required. PS: When testing the AICV on bench, check resistance across all terminals and apply 12v to check operation.
