Done it! Removed it all and its not fun!

Got it all out, had the original nu welded shut on the inside, reinstalled it, the othe ends I cut off and welded them shut too. Reinstalled them for a total mod cost of $5. Love it, just got sore knuckles now.

Isn't some fuel dedicated to the EGR/AIV's - maybe better fuel consumption now

if you remove the egr do you have to block the hole? can you remove everyth

ing associated with the egr? is the black plastic box with the T piece that the aiv goes to needed? read the tech article but they arent the best.

    Yes block the hole in

manifoild with a plug, think its 22mm 1.5mm thread
and you can by 300deg kit from coz to block the
plenum. if your thinking off doing it, a hack-saw
    is your friend

The 300 degree kit includes the bolt

to block off the manifold as well as the plates to block off under the plenum. If AIVs are also removed you can delete both AIV and EGR solenoids. The black box you are refering to might be the factory boost guage sender, run a 4mm vac line to this from the plenum and delete the t piece.
