After putting the plenum back on I noticed that the injector cap on the drivers side closest to the front still sits hard up against the plenum.

Is this normal or have I put the fuel rail in wrong?

Also are there O-rings in between the bottom of the fuel rail and the lower plenum where each injector sits in? Cause it looks like theres a gap there.

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks

don't know bout the rest as I don't have sards but yes there are o-rings at the base of the fuel rail, I just put mine back on and there was a slight gap after tightening it down.

You may have to grind a little off the plenum for clearance or alternatvely, some more off the hat.
So I would suggest that this is normal. Are you talking about the o-rings that sit in the
lower plenum or the fat one on the injector itself?
This subject has been covered alot recently so do a 'search' and you'll find more info.

    Do yourself a favour....

I'm not sure if it's all Sard Injectors or just the 650cc's.

Do yourself a favour and give High Octane a call in Sydney... They specific built an install kit that will allow you to bolt these suckers straight in PERFECTLY.

The main concern with just using the O-ring style install is that there have been cases in which the seal gives way and causes fuel flooding.

Spend a bit extra and get this done properly.

    You will not be disappointed.

Just let them know what your after and save yourself some hassle!

    Cool

I'm not going to worry about that injector seems to be fine how it is.
And we did put those large seals in under the fuel rail. So everything seems to be okay atm.

    Thanks for your help
