like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290280831928&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT How did you secure it at the top (standard radiator mounting clamps don't fit this radiator, as it's wider), and how did you mount the fan shroud?
i have a similar one in my na, however i didnt refit the fan shroud.. just dont put your hand in there whilst the engine is on... i dont believe it is illegal not to have one fitted
Assuming you have a TT. Modification of the mounts is easy. 1. Remove the internal rubber from the mount. 2. Using an Angle Grinder- preferrably 4", but 5" will do, extend the opening slots in the upper mounts until it fits over the radiator. 3. Put the internal rubbers back in, and using a stanley knife, trim them up also to suit the enlarged opening. Found that with mine, the passenger side mount fouled on the end tank. Is a simple matter of re-drilling the 6mm hole in the mount and side-shifting it. From memory, its only about 20mm that it has to move. ps- not sure about Vic rules, but in Qld, it IS illegal to not have a fan shroud fitted if there was one factory fitted.
Wizard, is that an ARC 'ebay' radiator like the link I posted, or another brand? The top mounts look good (are they still rubber insulated?), but if it is an ARC one, how did you mount your fan shroud? The one I bought has the top shroud bolt holes in sort of the right position, but no mounting holes on the bottom of the radiator, so if fitted, the shroud would be able to flap around and probably foul on the fan.
Bok Choi One from Tom at PZP group buy a while back. Brackets are rubber mounted and fan shroud is bolted on.
Mine are just stockies, swapped sides, chromed (like everything else), drilled and tapped and retain the radiator with 6mm S/S socket head cap screws, easy, cheap and effective Uploaded with ImageShack.us
