Question about Headlight

I was wondering is there any chance to fit a H3 light bulb on to a Zed As I know Zed only fit H3C right??? If yes does it need any modification and is that hard to do?? cos I want to get a HID kit from Ebay but couldn't get the right one.

If you're fitting an HID upgrade you won't be using H3C's or H3's, you'll be using the globes that come with the kit, so I don't see the reason for your question.

 

quite right - the real HID bulbs require a balast and additional wiring, and have absolutely no physical or electrical resemblance to H3, H3c or any other halogen light. - but you MAY be reading about the halogen H3/H3c/H4 type bulbs that are advertised as giving blue HID light,-- this is just normal bulbs with blue tinted glass - this ain't HID.

I think there is

a how to in the tech section... Only have to drill a hole and add a wire from memory, but i'm looking into changing the actual fitting to H3

Won't do you any good, how are you going to earth the globe? The H3C earths through the wiring loom, whilst the H3 earths through the headlight body, hence the reason for the extra wire mod.:zlove:

I have had a Hid kit fitted and the difference is quite literary 'night and day'.
My kit was a group buy on the skyline forum and it was a very straight forward fit, thanks to Wiz.
It isn't worth mucking about with globe conversions when the end result is still unsatisactory.
