and now for the legible post

That was fun. Spent the day worrying about the weather hoping is wasnt going to still be raining. Fortunately the rain stopped about 3pm and gave the track some time to dry out. It wasnt perfect as there will still some large wet patches on the track all night. It did get better as the night progressed.

As for the drifting I had a blast. It took a couple of goes to get the hang of it. I started off been a little timid but once I been a bit more aggressive and started throwing the weight of the car things became alot easier and a heap more fun.

My zed is a little champion as I had heaps of offs I ended up in the grass and mud maybe 4-5 times, went sideways over and through ripple strips went sliding for long distances at 90deg(thinking the tyres were going to roll off the rims and spent the majority of the drifts sitting off the limiter at 7k. She didnt miss a beat I have no drift damage and my car still drives like it did when I went there. She is a little champion.:zlove:

The wet patches were causing problems with everyone mostly causing spins. For me I had bad understeer problems in the wet. Id intiate the drift and as soon as I hit the wet the car would push forwards, easily fixed with the E-brake(I speaks driftspeak now) but not very smooth.

Thanks to BrisyBeauty for rocking up for a little while. Sorry to drag you out with the intentions of holding my tools. I didnt realise that we would get a pit and the gear would be safe. I was good to see you again and good to have you back from up north. And thanks to all the other competitors who looked at me wierd when I was driving down pit lane with the expression of (zeds cant drift)

ZEDS CAN DRIFT. I JUST CAN'T......YET.:zlove:

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun out there! It was a shame it didnt have better lighting so that we could see where you were instead of looking for taillights half way through your drift to guess that it was a z!!

Sorry I left early, got a bit too cold for my liking! Hehe!

It was really good to see you again and to meet you Mia! (If you're on the forum on Al's account) Hehe!
