[qld] sunshine coast all imports meet/cruise Saturday 12/11/11

I WANT TO SEE SO MANY 300ZX'S THERE THAT IT HURTS!
ESPECIALLY Z31'S!!!!!


The new Sunshine Coast All Jap car Meetup/Cruise. BEING HELD FROM 7PM AND WE WILL BE DEPARTING BY 9PM. ON THE 12TH OF NOVEMBER.
Aussie/american/european built cars are also welcome.


ANY HOONING BEHAVIOUR NEAR OR IN THE COMPLEX WHERE WE HOLD THE EVENT OR ON THE DRIVE WILL BE REPORTED TO POLICE - NUMBER PLATES AND DETAILS OF CARS WILL BE FORWARDED ONTO THE POLICE ALSO.

I got sick of the old details, it was all common sense so i shortened it.


Basically everyone; Details are as follows.


The meetup will be held at the caloundra bus interchange
(AKA CALOUNDRA BUS TERMINAL) Located at 43 Cooma Terrace Caloundra, its a massive multistory carpark you cant miss it.

Theres not really many "rules" to this event, its all common sense; Such as-

Dont Crank your stereo volume. no one gives a shit about your entry tunes.
Dont rev your car, it draws unwanted attention. save engine tunes for the cruise.
Dont do skids- People who do will have details forwarded onto police.(not to mention that the venue has 24 hour constant video surveillance)
The Event WILL BE CANCELLED IF IT IS RAINING!



dont listen to rumors or listen to bullshit stories such as

"the speed bumps are too big to drive my low car over" - lies, the bumps are tiny.

" cops will be all over this" - Lies, the cops have made appearances but even at the last one we even had police supporting what i had arranged because we're genuine enthusiasts.

in short, its the perfect spot to hold the meet and there is a shitload of parking spaces too.


There IS NOT any way possible to keep any ford/holden/euro enthisiasts out of this event, however having too many aussie built or euro cars in attendance has NEVER been a problem.

Holden,Ford, and Euro cars are welcome to attend but this event is mainly a japanese car event.

The Cruise destination HAS been decided,If youre curious about it, PM Me. - (it has nothing to do with lapping mooloolaba,maroochydore etc. this is a REAL drive.)


The meet starts at 7Pm and we will be leaving for the drive no later than 9pm.

Be organised, Have fuel and food supplies ready.

Make this a good meet guys. Keep the interest in this thread going.

YEP, I am keen have wanted to do one of your events for a while.
I work in the security industry so I cannot confirm until closer to the date, but if all works out with rosters etc, I will be there

nick those speed bumps are shit and i got stuck on the first one,

no probs from cops, but its still not great when they sittin on the exit ramp and your trying not bottom out and drag your car across speed bumps in front of them,.
being as everyone goes to bunnings to redevous on the way out why not make your meet point there. its more open with more then one way out and no speed bump issues,

 

I live in caloundra and cops have been on there A game the past month just last week my mate in his r33 got pulld over because his turbod spools to loud they seen black smoke come from his muffler so they also pinned him for somken his wheels wtf when it was only fuel from muffler fined him under the hoon law 3 strikes cars gone they have 20 new cops located in caloundra and sunny coast trained to dectect moded cars i baby my zed and every now and then i give it a punch in a safe manner other fools out there are setting a bad example now most cops and people of the public think imports are all hoons but there not i just dont wont to take the risk must people meeting up are P platers no affence cops love you guys once they see that P plate your gone my brother is p plater has a na zed always getting pulled over for genral checks i rather meet up on a full zed meet tech day or somthing aleast i know its going to be a safe enviroment. maybe you can have a only zed meet

 

just talked to the missus and we will head down for this provided nothing breaks on the Z between now and then lol.

Honestly man, im thinking of changing the meet spot to that carpark anyway, HEAPS more open and spread out, the only thing that sucks is lack of lighting.

also- when i spoke to the cops last time, they said that the bunnings carpark is apparently private property and us having a meet there is trespassing :S

 

on the radio mate and it was in the paper sunny coast daily few months back
police also have been taken pictures of all the imports and hotted up cars around
just becareful same as moolooaba esplanade the cam pics are hookd straight to the police beat up the road so when you come out of the esplanade you have to drive past the police shop tricky buggers

One of the loyal attendants of these meets and cruises has a boss who's wife was stationed at caloundra until about a week ago, no new 20 officers have been stationed there. looks like the newspaper and radio have spoon fed you and however many other people a crock of bullshit.

Just come out to the meet, come with some friends too and just enjoy the environment. The local police respect what i do because im keeping people from going around and drifting etc.


Drive your car - Don't Hide it.

 

The event is THIS coming weekend guys, so be ready and bring your Zed's out!!!


The location for the meet has NOT changed, it was too short of notice to change the meet location on 10+ different forums.

However im considering the caloundra Bunnings Warehouse Carpark for the next event, i will keep you posted.

Also people, bring your camera with you too. the more photo's we get the better.
