285.7hp - Not too bad. I'm sure I get do better once I sort out the smoke problem.

seems like everyone went backwards powerwise today. Ive got a good few pics on the camera ill upload when i get a chance. wont bither posting my chart since its less than last time, but its all part of the tuning process.

ill be dropping the VCT cut off point to 4300 on the next tune.

Well done to all who came and hopefully we'll all get some improvements made before teh next day

I think the dyno was reading a bit low. Pretty sure my leaning out problem was to do with where the probe was located.

What's with the funky dip at the end? Only 450hp? On low boost?

Dip at the end is exhaust restriction. 450hp at 18psi 6700rpm limited to 7000hp. With bigger exhausts and dumps, another 7-8psi and 500rpm it should go 550ish.

Drokk, your AFR is wildly different on both on graphs' , thats the thing i find strange, overall power can be down to the dyno but the AFR is weird, its quite erratic on the 2nd graph but is richer, on todays graph it is stable but leaner?

Afr was measured in the dump pipe when tuned, not in the tail pipe.

it was good to see it run, the curve was strong and it was clear that his has alot more in it.

Depends alot on the condition of the cats. Peters car has brand new 200cpi metal cats on it. Peter rang me while I was at signature performance this morning, I spoke to Mick the owner/tuner and he said straight away they would of had the probe in the muffler which can affect the reading up to 2 points. Really it doesnt matter where the probe is as long as the tuner has a good eye for tuning, the afr is not so important, but rather how the engine responds to changes.
