I was installing mine today. For the left wing stand, did you guys have problems trying to drill next to the wiper? The other 3 holes were pretty easy to drill, but I've snapped 2 drill bits trying to drill this one. What's under there? It's nowhere even near penetrating the wiper motor or anything... Gonna have another go tomorrow morning, if all else fails I'll just cut the one bolt and sikaflex the wing on...
show me pics and I will tell you if you put the wing too far forward .. you are probably hitting the edge of a support bracket .
mine sat about 10mm back .. did you take the trim off and have a look? remove the wiper motor and see what you are hitting might be the actual wiper motor bracket .. I no longer have a rear wiper
Yeah I'm gonna have a go after lunch, I'll take off all the wiper associated bits. I did have a look under though and it's not even close to penetrating the bracket... ah well we'll see...
