pulling Auto NA gearbox

    Hey Guys,

    Trying to pull my NA Auto gearbox, can seem to find any how to's on this I have all weekend to do it but Im doing it with jacks\chox and solo so any advice or help would be appreciated....

    further more a carton to anyone in Perth who wants to swing by who have done it and give me a hand! cheers.

    Probably an idea to let people know what suburb you are in

    Exhaust off
    Heat shields off
    Tailshaft off
    Wiring to GB disconnected
    Undo all GB bolts (you won't be able to get to 1 bolt at the upper left of the GB (as viewed from below, looking to front of car)... use 2 500mm (Yes! 1m long) extension bars to get to it, and put a handle on it.
    Then put a couple of jacks under it and pull it off and lower it.

    might be more then I am able to handle with the setup and tools I have tbh looking at it atm

    Setup a Tech day.

    You will need two cartons of beer, 2 Kgs of snaggers and about 3 bags of hotdog rolls. Other than that, nothing else will be required. Ok, maybe a selection of sauces.

    auto box removal

    This is an auto box so you will have to disconnect the torque converter and dont forget the gear selector and starter motor. I always drain an auto box before removing them.
