Made a bit of "progress" (if you call it that!) with the Z over the weekend. Stripped most of the interior out, getting it ready for a colour change and a heap of sound deadening. I am almost decided on the new interior scheme, but still 'umming and ahhhing' over certain little bits. The Pagani Zonda is my inspiration: Looking for a more "euro" feel. Was a lot of fun ripping everything out, the dash was surprisingly easy. Didn?t break too many clips on the trim pieces either which is good. Most of the front end has come of as well; all the cooler piping, headlights, and various engine parts are off ready to go to the chromers. Just got to finish smoothing out cast marks. Next step is to pull the engine. Kinda looking forward to this one! Hopefully by this time all my body parts will be here and then she can go to the Body Shop soon after. I?m finding it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel! But it'll get there... and I can?t bloody well wait! Cheers- James
Wow that Zonda is Pimpin! If you can get your Zed looking half as good that will be awesome Good luck and remember to keep us updated with progress posts and pics like this one!
Dude, just a question, what is with the holes in the seats of the zonda? That round hole that looks like its where you would "go" if you were stuck in the car with no other options?
Cheers mate. As for engine mods- Not a heap on top of what I already have - At the moment I have- Hi flowed Turbos -may look at upgrading later FMIC Twin Pod set up Moded Auto box EBC Nothing special... Wish list- Better Dumps New better quality exhaust SAW Kit (the 6 speed conversion kit has my attention) Some better shocks and lower springs Also, need to replace the Motec, 555 injectors that were flogged. That will prob do me for a while, also depends on my heads (may have done a head gasket) -If this is the case, then may look at a small scale rebuild, nothing too serious. I dont need any big power numbers. Main thing is while the engine is out, i will change everything that can/will break!
Yeah, though it comes standard with 3-point seatbelts? I thought it might be a glorified cup holder. Or perhaps the Zonda can take care of all your 'needs' while driving? Replacement girlfriend is taken to a whole other level.
Does that Zonta have built in vibrators????? Bit girly for me. They should have been in that pink Barbie car. If you want cool Euro style have a look in a DB9
Project Update... Hi Zelous, Keep up the good job there mate. Seems daunting at first but once you get into it you will feel much better - tis the truth, I've been there before with another type of car! Always aim for 'small' progress and you wont get disheartened. Please keep us all updated with photos and progress report, you know we all love this sort of thing. Cheers, Kaz.
