Sounds like people who drove those cars may need to go the track more often, Emile(moulaZX) ran 13.2 on 220rwkw and his motor wasn't in the best condition when it ran that time. My NA runs 14.5 as it sits with the exhaust, pod & UDP as its only power mods, so i don't think my chances are as bad as some of you make them out to be, i don't mind though, i like proving people wrong. A 300rwkw TT would be well into the 11's with a good driver.
I reckon on a cold night with a good launch and some suspension and other basic mods, u could crack a high 13. Even if u dont, no doubt ull have the fastest NA recorded on the forum. Dont listen to what some people say. It's the "Not possible" attitude which poisons peoples will to try.
N'aww shucks! You forgot to add my Diff bushes are completely shot and I had to launch at 2.5K RPM every time or risk violent ass-shuddering... Curious about this goal as well, but if you're against NOS, why'd you post up that link to one on Facebook a few nights ago? lol. I don't get why you don't spend a bit on extractors though, it's not about peak power... I'm sure extractors would definitely free up some more torque and KW throughout the entire power band. MoulaZX
I also ran a 12.69 with a stock engine/turbo combination with an auto that had a shift kit. I'd like to see you make it to your goal, but I'm not convinced it can be done. Prove me wrong
I'll certainly try my best is all i can say, i have ordered a nistune but i'll be doing a tuning course at Unigroup Engineering and want to tune it there . Will chuck a Snow Performance Water/Methanol Injection Kit on before i tune it, as when i TT the car it'll be on WMI anyway but even as an NA it should provide some benefit. Decats are being made over the weekend
see i dunno if nos etc should be counted.... its not consistant and the engine wouldnt survive if it was... its like saying in a fight "im gonna punch u really really hard but you cant move and I can only try once before im knackered so stand still"
Alright guys, bit of an update. Will be going back hopefully in 2 weeks to have a practice run to test out a setup of mine. Baby steps ECU will be chipped for a higher rev limit and speed limiter removed but that will be it, an SAFC & Decats. My NIStune won't arrive on time, so i'll make do for the moment.
