Hey all, Ill try and explain this as well as i can. Has anyone had the problem where you turn your air con/heater on and it will only blow out the vents at the windscreen and nowhere else. It used to work but just not anymore after i fixed my warped head problem not that i would think that would have anything to do with it. I'm stuck i don't know what to do. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. cheers
I think you will find that one of the two small actuators on the heater unit is broken, from memory I think it is the one above the climate control unit on the right hand side of the heater unit. Before you go ripping everything out to get to it you might like to try changing the climate control unit for a known working one, these is relatively easy to get at.
yep - mine does the exact same thing i did a search and found other members had similar problems, and as martin said, the actuators were the cause. however after reading what was involved in replacing these (dash out etc), i was like 'meh. i can live with it'
