    Hey guys

How long should it take to get oil pressure on a brand new TT motor?
Have done 4 intervals of 30 seconds to get oil pressure yet the gauge won't move.

Don't want to fire it up until I see movement on the gauge.

    Thanks Matt.

New OEM sender was working fine prior to engine pull. Just removed sender from hardline on left turbo and gave it a few more cranks nothing came out of there.

Did you do anything to prime the pump? I partially filled mine with pertroleum jelly before assembly and had no issues.

Take the plugs out, squirt a little bit of engine oil down the bore (dont overdo it). Then CRANK it for 30-1min secs. Check with garage oil pressure pump. It will register on the guage. The assembly grease should protect it for quite a while if the pumps not working. (if they used any? they should have....)

Put the plugs back in and start it. Immediately it starts check oil pressure with garage oil pressure guage. If it hasnt got any turn it off and find out why.

All good oil pressure is up high now I started it and within a few seconds oil pressure shot up. Nah didn't do that, have been told about it previously though wasn't sure where it is to be packed in.
