I've got a TT fuel pump with TT FPCU on an NA Manual.

I've heard that the TT's have a 3 Speed Fuel pump, but can it be utilised with an NA Manual ECU?

Anyways, when I turn the car to ign, the fuel pump primes for about 15 seconds, is the fuel pump on it's way out? I've done this with a full tank as-well, so it's not being strained or anything.

Unless you swap out the ECU for a TT ecu and run the extra wiring for the TT Fuel controller. It wont work properly.

Suggest you put the NA fuel controller back in. It should then work. The TT 3 speed thing isn't necessary in any case.

When the TT conversion comes get the NA firmware changed for TT injector size and TT tune and all will be well.

BTW its NOT the pump that's 3 speed. Its the controller.

It should only prime for a few seconds when the ignition is set to on. If it does it for 15 seconds, something's gotta be wrong pretty bad. Who knows what you're putting the controller or pump through when the wiring is incorrect. I'd get it 100% sorted before trying to let it run.

try bypassing the fpcu alltogether .. long priming could indicate your system has leaks in it aswell..

im pretty sure the fpcu only controls the voltage to the pump as ive ran alot of zeds without fpcu and the prime time is never affected !!

    Hey Graham

Forgot to mention the car was originally TT, don't ask it's a long story haha.

Would I be able to simply just place an NA Fpcu in then? It does have the extra wire in the plug, would that affect anything?

I will be going TT conversion down the track (within a year), would it be plausible to chuck something like this http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...4&Car_Type=300&UID=2013080520301058.96.77.167 and use it for both the NA and TT motor?

I know it is overpowered, but will it work with the NA and TT FPCU? Or is the swap mandatory? (Just checking out all options here)

    Cheers.

Hmmm, OK I would use a TT ecu and get a rom for the NA injector size and tune you need.

Know where I could get a rom/chip/service for the ecu? :p
