WA Pre-cruise Tech Day 9/10/10

well i couldnt see a thread so i thought id start one up....

thanks to Awegazm for hosting yet another brilliant tech day, was good fun as always.....fair few people and cars came and went on the day as well......

A HUGE thank yo to Shay and Dave who helped me get my stereo installed in the vert, we ended up finishing at Daves house around 2.30 morning so was a huge effort to get it finished, but its all done and its done properly, no crappy wiring and all cable tied neatly, proper soldered joints and heat shrinked etc etc etc..... Sounds good as well considering its only a baby system lol.....

I really like the dark blue Z in the parked in the driveway with the bonner up....its looks vaguely familiar..LOL..Very sorry I couldnt attent this tech day, by all accounts it was really good

As Ross suggested, you should see if you can find the center caps for your rims hey. Even if it's only for a short term it'll make the rims look heaps better

 

Who was the young guy with the red TT that had all the boost leaks and needed the 100K service and PP? From Busselton.

yayy lovely to be known for my amazing boost leaks and its Manjimup!! even further,, dont even know why i bothered cleaning my car before i came to the techy, the front was black from bugs when i got home anyway

just dug up the service sheets that the prev owner gave me, 100k service has been done but it was in 2006, and according to the odo reading from the service sheets the cars only done ~15xxxks since then.

will definetly get onto the other leak (supposively my right smic hoses?) and a plenum pull,, been reading through "http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.458" and also "http://www.ttzd.com/tech/fuelfiltertech.html",, just trying to get an idea/learn what has to be done. Might even give it a go with my dad and uncle, but only once i fully understand what i have to do.., andy (i think it was) was telling me its not that complicated - although i'm new at this kind of thing
