I also had the Super Streets, I was very happy with them for the money.

  2. I have driven/ ridden with Zs on cheap coilover set ups. Megan and Godspeed to be exact. And the PTs on my car ride loads better than those cheap coils. And Tein Flexes will obviously ride smoother/ softer just because they are designed for daily usage and minimal track use. I used to have a set of Flexes on my old car and they were super comfy, but lacking in the performance department when on the road course. Too soft.
And I've had people fall asleep in my Z with my Ultralite set up. Never had any complaints about a jarring ride aside from hitting major cracks and having solid joints all around.

Extremely disappointing to see one company trying to undermine another company without even testing it's products. Especially since you are basing this on a set of "copy shocks" that were apparently tested 10 years ago and found to be "very bad". UAS have most likely seen many different coil-over set-ups in the cars that they have dealt with. However, to come onto a post that is in regards to a specific manufacturer and claim that their products are copies and/or use components from inferior known products, disregarding the fact that Powertrix has clearly stated that they manufacture their own coil-overs, is nothing less than pathetic business ethics. As stated earlier in the thread, this brings to mind the Car-mate bodykit incident. If I recall correctly, UAS felt that they had been "slandered" on the forum by the forum member. Yet, somehow they feel that they can put down a business opinion on another company, based on nothing but the fact that the coilovers in question "look similar" to other coilovers. Very poor business ethics and PR to say the least.

I'm in the same boat. My powertrix are far nicer to drive on than the Tein HRs I just took out

derishus just sharing my experience. We test suspension just about everyday, not just 10 years ago. Maybe Anti or others who have a set available to shock dyno test and see?

I am well aware that you would have a lot of experience in dealing with many different models of coil-overs regularly, which is why I said:

"UAS have most likely seen many different coil-over set-ups in the cars that they have dealt with."

I stick by what I said earlier. If you wish to test the coilovers in question, and then post the results up, then that is your choice.

Until you test the coilovers or actually use a set yourself, you are unable to provide a factual review of the product.

The multiple posts also suggest that you are attempting to "trash" another business, which does you no favours seeing as you are representing your own business through your posts. You are of course entitled to your opinion, and expressing it. In saying that, I feel that the purpose of the forum is to allow people to share knowledge, information and have a place where they can discuss issues that they have, among many other things. Making accusations without proof does not benefit the community in any way, shape or form. This is why I brought it up. I simply expected better from a business owner who has been on this forum and involved with the zed community for such a long time.

So an update on this. I have to hand it to Charles, who went and sent me a brand new set of bump stops, cups for the front (including new bushings) and dust boots. I have to hand it to the man, his customer service is a thing of legend.

I have installed all the new parts, modified the coilovers as discussed and am looking forward to rolling on them again. For the record, I didn't flog out all the old components - bRACKET is the previous owner of the coils, he did it :p

I will be looking into cutting/welding the lower cups for completed travel. At the moment, my front travel will only be limited 8mm or so. What I have in mind should be able to completely eliminate that.

Ill second your comments. I've been in email communications with Charles in regards to their product for another vehicle. And he has been nothing but more than obliging with the information he puts forward. Very helpful individual indeed.

Too bad I have to wait till December for the GB. Haha

    Cheers
