Hey just wondering anyone has removed the hicas from there Z32?
I have completely removed my hicas an anything to do with it and relocated the reservoir to up beside the brake booster, but if I run the car longer than 15 mins it ends up cooking the oil and i loose my power steering.
Any help on will be very appreciated

effectively youve placed it directly above a friggen hot turbo and exhaust manifold !!! remember hot air rises !!! im not suprised its boiling your fluid

yes and we all have massive problems with our brake reservoir melting and oil boiling

can you list exactly what you did and what u needed to relocate this. also tell us what u did with the cancellation of the hicas u might have missed something ?

I put a locking bar on the diff, I removed all the pipes that supply's the 4 wheel steer. I'm still running the standed pump just bunged up the ports that supply the rear. The revisor is deffanly not getting hot from the turbos. Has any one fitted an oil cooler and did it help?

    What did you bung?
Don't you loop the hoses so that fluid circulates?

Low pressure lines are soft, High pressure lines use a mixture of soft and hard. :p:D

The pump has 1 supply in and 2 out put ports I blocked 1 port and sent the other through the rack and back 2 the reservoir

By blocking the hicas supply port on the pump isn,t that going to just build up pump pressure on that side of pump and over heat the oil ?.Check tech section for the proper mod.

the reservoir has been relocated to this area many times before. no one has had this problem. i doubt he is running the lines directly above the turbo lol..... what would u say to those lines around and for the turbo then
